Te Matatuku is the ‘engine room’ of Te Mātāwai, the corporate arm of strategic operations management and tactical operations using a combination of these approaches for the best results. Te Matatuku plays an integral role to ensure that all teams can deliver a seamless service that enables the best conditions for the Board, Pae Motuhake, Kāhui, hapori and iwi.
Given the breadth of operations management functions, this small team has mix diverse of capabilities to get the jobs done. Having the right mix of competencies – both hard and soft skills – is necessary so that Te Matatuku can manage complex processes and workflows, implement the right technology solutions, navigate disruptions and Kāhui changes, and align day-to-day operations with long-term strategy. The team is maximising the organisation’s efforts and staying agile.
