Communications, Marketing and Events
The communications function at Te Mātāwai plays a vital role in our engagement with kāinga, hapori, iwi, and te reo Māori stakeholders, particularly our Crown partners in Te Whare o te Reo Mauriora.
Te Mataihi is responsible for overseeing all internal and external communication activities, strategies, and events. Our primary roles encompass strategic and tactical communications, social media and website management, media relations, stakeholder engagement, storytelling, event leadership, branding, design, and merchandise development. Through these efforts, we aim to strengthen the visibility, prominence and impact of Te Mātāwai within the community and beyond.
