Investment Decisions for the 2026-2027 Round
Every year after receiving applications, Pae Motuhake assess and moderate each application using the Kāhui Investment Plan and investment criteria. Each regional Pae Motuhake make recommendations to the Board of Te Mātāwai who makes the final decision on which applications will receive investment funding and which applications are declined.
The Board's final decisions are based on:
- recommendations from the Pae Motuhake
- available investments
- applications meeting the necessary criteria for investments and of the Kāhui
- applications aligning with the investment plan of the Kāhui
- from time to time approved by Te Mātāwai Audit and Risk Committee
- conflicts are managed.
