Ō Mātou Tāngata

Te Mātāwai Board (the Board) consists of 13 members. Seven are appointed by and for Kāhui ā-rohe o ngā iwi, four by Te Reo Tukutuku organisations, and two by the Minister of Māori Development. As a collective of governors, the Board leads Māori language revitalisation efforts; influences and leverages Crown activities and investments in Māori language revitalisation; and effectively discharges its fiduciary (‘trustee’) responsibilities.
